In the week where we light the Advent wreath to remember St John the Baptist who prepared the way for Jesus, we thought it fitting to mark our church of St John the Baptist, which has been in existence for 200 years.

Our virtual pub 'The Father's Arms' opens its doors again. Pour yourself a glass of mulled wine or tankard of beer and don your Christmas jumper. To celebrate St John's 200th, in addition to general knowledge questions there will be a few extras on the theme of St John the Baptist.
Bonus prizes will be awarded for the best Christmas outfit and tackiest backdrop of Christmas decorations.
